Personally, its not clear to me why people are desperate to prove Vedic civilization in Indus valley. Vedic civilization is far older than Indus Valley and probably started in the east. Bengal, Bihar area. Ramayana starts there. R1a is max in that area.

My views moulded initially by Aurobindo and more recently by my own work, the work of and Rupa Bhaty lead me to believe that Vedas have originated as primal sounds and would date back more than 15000 years
