Indirapuram is one of the fastest growing sub-cities in the country. As a satellite township adjoining the National Capital Territory- Delhi, it has its own importance and possibility. But an integrated approach to its future development is missing. The concept of NCR was stretched too far to be a workable proposition. As a result, transportation and communication integration remains a distant dream. Even DMRC is myopic not to think of Indirapuram, as of now.
Chandigarh should have gone to Punjab and Delhi could be integrated with Haryana. If a new state is formed comrising East-Delhi and West-UP, then the momentum of development can be geared up. A comprehensive vision for the whole area is the need of the hour.

Savitri Era Learning Forum

Savitri Era Learning Forum posits a model of counselling and communicative action as an instrument in order to stimulate the public sphere. The model aims at supplementing the individual’s struggle for a successful social adjustment with more aspirational inputs so as to help one take an informed and balanced attitude towards life as well as society.

Upasana: 2003

Once again the much-awaited autumn days are here and we are invoking the auspicious presence of Maa Durga along with her family. While we worship them with purity, sincerity and surrender, the five deities imbue us with power, wisdom, prosperity, excellence and innovation.

No wonder, a whole lot of artistic possibilities and creative efflorescence come flooding during these week-long festivities. Along with sports events and competitions in traditional arts and amusements, they offer ample recreations as well as cultural inducement to the young and the old alike living in our campus.

While I am beholden to the individuals and institutions for their continued patronage of this annual venture, I invite you all to come forward with open hearts to partake of the Divine benediction and receive inspiration for a life of collaboration, solidarity and harmony.

The pristine manifestation of the ‘irreal’ unfolds. The opulence of light transforms space into a kaleidoscopic exuberance, giving a sense of the overwhelming infinitude, a pervading cosmic canopy. Amid the vibrant interplay of light and form, a glimpse of the ethereal sublimity. Santosh Verma’s paintings translate this joyful exaltation of the abstract, as they explore the intense dynamism and beauty of the psyche.

Harpal Singh: A Visionary

Indirapuram was planned and conceived as an ambitious project by the GDA years ago, but it did not take off because of lack of infrastructural facilities. Many residential colonies built by the GDA were lying unsold and abandoned. Though pivotally situated amidst Noida, Ghaziabad and east Delhi, the area used to wear a deserted look.
And then came Shri Harpal Singh. With his daring vision, Shri Harpal Singh worked upon a semi-built LIG colony built by the GDA and transformed it into Shipra Riviera, a sprawling residential complex with all modern facilities. Through innovative marketing strategies, the project became an instant success and within a year, nearly 1000 families found their homes, thanks to Shri Harpal Singh.
Now, of course, Indirapuram has become the most sought after destination within the National Capital Region and a large number of real estate companies have set up their apartment complexes and Malls. Still, Shri Harpal Singh can really be described as the founder of Indirapuram , but for whose catalytic role the development of the area and its adjoining colonies would not have taken place so rapidly.
Although, the untimely demise of Shri Harpal Singh robbed the residents of Shipra Riviera, of a friend and a well wisher, his memory lingers in the popular imagination.
