Western philosophy has many assets. First and foremost is logic. The power of presenting cogent arguments without committing fallacies. The second is language. Over the centuries it has amassed writings of superlative order which most find abstruse. The third is mutual conflicts.
The advantage of following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is that one is saved from debates regarding the existence of God. Another aspect is not to be impressed by tall claims of mystical experience and self-realisation. Only thing that counts is waiting for the grace of The Mother.
A very good introduction to Jean Baudrillard. No philosopher before him has shown this world of ours in a more wonderful way. The reality that we live in becomes in his hands totally unrecognisable and alien. One clamours in disbelief and yet there is no means for escaping.
Making sense of the reality is not easy and philosophers have offered help for discerning hidden connections. The body, for instance, is the most visible but its interconnectedness is hardly perceptible. A fine overview of the problem and a collection of insights on its solution.
